Brand new Ruler class Servant Karl der Grosse will be playable in Fate/Extella Link, Marvelous has announced. Here is an overview of the character, via Marvelous:

A majestic man. A holy king. A supreme ruler who achieved the unity of Western Europe, and is modeled after King Charlemagne. Whether it is victory or defeat, he never distresses or loses his way, and continues to push forward with calm judgment. He boasts of having an expansive love, second only to the omnipresent God. In battle he is extremely relentless, but kindly receives those who show their allegiance to “God.”
Marvelous also released screenshots of a childlike Altera (voiced by Mamiko Noto), who goes missing in the opening of the game and is said to hold the key to the story. Fate/Extella Link is due out for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in Japan on June 7 and you can watch a trailer featuring Karl der Grosse below:
