Disney Channel has announced that Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda will be making his official debut on DuckTales on Friday, May 11th.
Miranda will take on the role of Gizmoduck (aka Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera). This reimagining of the character has him as a brilliant young scientist with Latin roots who becomes Duckburg’s preeminent hero.
Beginning May 1st, DuckTales will air daily on Disney Channel, with premieres set for every Friday in May. New episodes and shorts will debut throughout the summer across Disney Channel, DisneyNOW and Disney Channel YouTube.
