Singer Ed Sheeran is in talks to appear in director Danny Boyle’s upcoming untitled musical comedy at Working Title and Universal Pictures.
The Daily Mail broke the story about Sheeran’s involvement. “Love Actually” filmmaker Richard Curtis penned the script about a man who wakes up one day to find he is the only one who can remember the songs of The Beatles. Lily James, Himesh Patel and potentially Kate McKinnon are also onboard.
Sheeran is expected to write new music for the film, which will also include Beatles hits, and filming begins this Summer. Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Matt Wilkinson and Bernie Bellew will produce
Sheeran has previously appeared in Game of Thrones, Bridget Jones’ Baby, The Bastard Executioner and Home and Away.
