Dutch police have shut down notorious “revenge-porn” website Anon-IB for hosting nude photos stolen from numerous women.
Authorities seized Anon-IB’s server and arrested three new suspects connected with the website.
On Anon-IB, sexual images of women were routinely shared without their consent and traded among users like baseball cards. Sadly the Internet can be used for evil.
Dutch police plan to notify any identifiable victims once their investigation is done. In addition to photos, the arrested suspects also stole personal data from the women.
