Breakpoint Studio, the developers for Tennis World Tour have also mentioned that the title will be receiving a day-one patch, here is they said:
“Note that the game will come with a day one patch, so make sure to check for updates before you claim the court for yourself. “
Tennis World Tour is planned for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 22nd, the Nintendo Switch and PC version of the game has sadly had its release date pushed back to the 12th of June.
