Nintendo’s new Poké Ball Plus controller will debut in November alongside the new Pokémon: Let’s Go! games. This controller is an actual Poké Ball that you can carry around and use to catch Pokémon in both Let’s Go! and Pokémon Go. Not only can you use it to catch Pokémon and transfer monsters between Pokémon Go and Let’s Go!, the device will also light up and shake, and the Pokémon “inside” will make noises, creating a realistic Pokémon experience.
The Poké Ball Plus will also come with an exclusive Pokémon already inside: the legendary Pokémon Mew. You can start your Pokémon: Let’s Go! game with a Mew. Considering that Mew is notoriously hard to obtain in the games (usually event-only), this exclusive Pokémon will be a prized addition to any trainer’s Pokédex.
The Poké Ball Plus accessory comes out with Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! on Nov. 16 on Nintendo Switch. Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!/Let’s Go, Pikachu! will sell for $59.99 each. A bundle with the Poké Ball Plus will be available for $99.99 each.
