Apple today said it has forged an agreement with Oprah Winfrey to “create original programs that embrace her incomparable ability to connect with audiences around the world.”
Winfrey is known for her talk show, movie roles, television network, and philanthropy. The content will be released as part of Apple’s forthcoming lineup of original shows and distributed through Apple’s platform.
The deal will be in place for at least several years. Apple didn’t say how quickly the partnership will begin to bear fruit.
