Steins;Gate Elite will launch for PS Vita and PlayStation 4, Switch, on September 20 in Japan, publisher 5pb. has announced. The standard physical edition will cost 7,800 retail yen, the digital edition will cost 7,000 yen, and the built-to-order limited edition will cost 18,000 yen.
As previously announced, first-print copies of the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita versions will include a download code for Steins;Gate Phenogram HD for PlayStation 4. First-print copies of the Switch version will include a download code for Steins;Gate 8-bit. Every version of the game will also include a random 35mm film with five frames depicting a new animation cut from Steins;Gate Elite.
The built-to-order limited edition can be pre-ordered from June 20 to July 18. It will include the following:
- High-detail framed illustration – An A4-size high-detail printed and framed illustration by character designer Huke.
- New cuts storyboard collection – A collection of storyboards prepared for the new animation cuts of Steins;Gate Elite. The storyboards were led by Kenichi Kawamura of the Steins;Gate 0 television anime. (A4 size, 80 pages.)
- New animation cut special film – A random 35mm film with five frames. This is an extra film in addition to the one that comes with first-print copies of the standard edition. Special scenes have been added for the limited edition.
In North America and Europe, Steins;Gate 0 will launch for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC in 2018. You can watch the opening movie below:
