Warner Bros. has premiered a new poster for the upcoming The Conjuring spin-off The Nun starring Demian Bichir and Taissa Farmiga. Tipped to be the darkest chapter in the onscreen Conjuring-verse so far, the film’s director Corin Hardy revealed that its producer James Wan served as second unit director for part of the production.
The film follows a priest with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows who are sent by the Vatican to investigate an apparent nun suicide in a small Romanian church. Together they uncover the order’s unholy secret.
The Nun has a planned release on September 7th.
