Netflix this fall will having a ten-film slate of originals and of them is from Green Room director Jeremy Saulnier – a new thriller called Hold the Dark.
Macon Blair penned the film in which Jeffrey Wright plays a wolf expert who heads to northern Alaska to track down the wolves who killed a young boy. A strange and dangerous relationship develops between him and the boy’s mother (Riley Keough), and then things explode when the husband (Alexander Skarsgard) returns home and turns violent.
James Badge Dale also stars in the film which premieres next month at the Toronto International Film Festival ahead of a Netflix release on September 28th.
