Lady Gaga has reportedly been approached by about taking on the role of the villainess Ursula in their live-action adaptation of their 1989 animated feature The Little Mermaid.
Gaga is coming off rave reviews for her performance in Bradley Cooper’s A Star is Born which is now in theaters and she has been sought for several projects with one report suggesting she was offered a role in Birds of Prey” but turned it down.
Alan Menken and Lin-Manuel Miranda will team up to compose the music for the film and production is expected to begin filming in Puerto Rico and Cape Town Africa shortly.
