Warner Bros. Pictures has released the official trailer for Detective Pikachu, the first live-action Pokemon” movie from Legendary Entertainment.
Justice Smith stars as a teen whose father is kidnapped which leads him to Ryan Reynolds’ Pikachu and Kathryn Newton as a young journalist who team up in order to find him.
Ken Watanabe, Suki Waterhouse, Rita Ora and Bill Nighy co-star. Rob Letterman (Goosebumps”) helms the film and co-wrote with Nicole Perlman. Mary Parent and Cale Boyter are producing.
Detective Pikachu opens in cinemas on May 11th 2019.
