Corsair has added three new capacities to its Force Series solid-state-drives first introduced in May. The new capacities include 40GB, 80GB and 160GB models. Each uses the same SandForce SF-1200 SSD Processor, with a peak at 285MB per second in sequential reads and 275MB per second for writing.
The 2.5-inch drives use SATA II and join the currently available 60GB, 100GB, 120GB, 200GB and 240GB SSDs. The new 40GB Force SSD will cost $130, the 80GB $230 and the 160GB version $450 when they launch in the near future.
