The upcoming release of the game for Xbox One and Switch will be the first time that Final Fantasy VII will be released on non-Sony games consoles
While early games such as Final Fantasy VI are often more highly praised by fans of the Final Fantasy series, it’s still clear that in terms of popularity that Final Fantasy VII is one of the best-selling games in the franchise. So the fact that this game is getting ported to the Switch and Xbox One is definitely surprising.
