Lionsgate has revealed an international trailer for the action feature Angel Has Fallen which sees Gerard Butler reprising his role of Secret Service Agent Mike Banning from Olympus Has Fallen and London Has Fallen at Millennium Films.
In the new film, an assassination attempt is made on U.S. President Allan Trumbull (Morgan Freeman). His trusted confidant Banning (Gerard Butler) is wrongfully accused and taken into custody.
After escaping from capture, he becomes a man on the run and must evade his own agency and outsmart the FBI in order to find the real threat to the President. Desperate to uncover the truth, Banning turns to unlikely allies to help clear his name, keep his family from harm and save the country from imminent danger.
Morgan Freeman, Nick Nolte, Danny Huston, Jada Pinkett Smith, Lance Reddick, Piper Perabo, Mark Gill, Matt O’Toole, Alan Siegel, and John Thompson also star.
Angel Has Fallen opens on August 23rd.
