HBO has released the official trailer for their four-part miniseries Catherine The Great about the famed long reign of the Russian monarch.
Oscar-winner Helen Mirren stars in Catherine The Great as the tumultuous monarch and politician who ruled the Russian empire and transformed its place in the world in the 18th century.
The series will also deal with her passionate affair with Grigory Potemkin (Jason Clarke). Gina McKee, Rory Kinnear and Richard Roxburgh co-star in the project penned by Nigel Williams (Elizabeth I) and helmed by Philip Martin (Prime Suspect).
The series will debut this fall on HBO.
