Ben Wheatley (Free Fire) has been hired to direct the sequel to last year’s Tomb Raider rebooot starring Alicia Vikander.
Vikander will reprise her role of Alicia Vikander in the follow-up to the game adaptation, with the new film setting a release date of March 19th 2021. Shooting will begin early next year.
Amy Jump is writing the sequel script and both Graham King and Elizabeth Cantillon are producing through GK Films.
