Filmmaker J.D. Dillard and actor Glen Powell are joining forces on the Korean War biopic epic Devotion for Black Label Media (La La Land).
The aerial war tale tells the harrowing true story of two elite U.S. Navy fighter pilots, Tom Hudner and Jesse L. Brown, during the Korean War and how their heroic sacrifices would ultimately make them the Navy’s most celebrated wingmen. Powell will star as Hudner
Dillard (Sweetheart) will chair the film based off Adam Makos’ 2014 book with Jake Crane and Jonathan Stewart adapting the screenplay.
Molly Smith, Rachel Smith, Thad Luckinbill, and Trent Luckinbill will produce.
