Deadline has reported Vince Vaughn (True Detective) will play one of the three leads in an untitled action-adventure comedy for Netflix.
Plot details have not yet been revealed, but the ensemble feature is said to be in the spirit of City Slickers.
The script for the action-comedy is written by Anders Holm (Workaholics, Game Over, Man!) and will be produced by Dan Farah (Ready Player One) via Farah Films alongside Peter Billingsley. Billingsley previously directed Vaughn in the comedy Couples Retreat.
Netflix previously collaborated with as Scott Stuber, Netflix’s head of film, produced Vaughn’s The Break-Up and Couples Retreat. The new movie was developed specifically for Vaughn along with several other comedic stars.
