So thanks to Amazon, the evidence is mounting that a new Intel GPU launch is coming soon. Wether it will be CES 2025 or the will be part of the holiday season gift giving is still unknown. Please note – several leakers have pointed to a December launch for the Xe2 Battlemage GPU!
The images are thanks to a faux pas by Amazon. The retailer listed two new Intel Arc Battlemage graphics cards, both by by ASRock on its site for a very short time. We have a few photos along with some the details.
The Specs
The Intel Arc B580 will be the first desktop GPU to use the Intel Xe2-HPG architecture. While we first saw this architecture in Lunar Lake chips as integrated graphics.
The Arc B580 looks to feature a PCIe 5.0 x8 interface along with 12GB of GDDR6 graphics memory on 192 bits bus running at clock speed of 2,800 MHz. This should give a memory bandwidth of around 456 GB/s.
The ASRock Arc B580 Challenger OC is the simpler than the Steel Legend model. The Challenger packsĀ two fans and a single 8-pin PCIe power socket vs two 8-pin PCIe power plugs on the Steel Legend. We guess Intel may not go for the12VHPWR 16Pin(12+4) power plug for this round of GPUs.
