THQ has announced that Drawn to Life: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition has shipped to retailers worldwide. The game follows the release of last year’s Drawn to Life, the first video game that allowed players to draw and play as their own characters. Drawn to Life: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition combines elements from the original Drawn to Life title with the world of SpongeBob SquarePants, and is now available exclusively for Nintendo DS.
Using the drawing mechanic from the original Drawn to Life, players will draw the hero, power ups, costumes, and even their own Bikini Bottom home to interact with SpongeBob SquarePants’ underwater universe. The game has more than 20 levels to explore and countless numbers of items to draw. A two-player vs. mode will allow players to compete against each other, while built-in drawing lessons help players increase their artistic abilities by learning to draw SpongeBob.
Drawn to Life: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition has the ERSB rating of E for Everyone and is now available for a suggested retail price of $29.99.
