Fujitsu this wekeend added the AH530 GFX to its LifeBook lineup. The notebook will support latest Intel Core i7 microprocessors and will run Windows 7 Professional. For best graphics and video performance, Fujitsu has added new ATI mobility Radeon HD 550v graphic with 1GB video memory. This on-board graphics would support DirectX 10.1 based games and offer decent video playback.
ATI (AMD) at CES this year and beyond has been pushing the concept of having an external video card at home or work as way to give user better and more powerful graphics while letting user have smaller laptop and better batter life while on the road.
The display has a 720P resolution and there is an HDMI output. Its spill-resistant keyboard includes a keypad and a Blu-ray drive is optional, with a dual-layer DVD burner standard.
The new LifeBook will be available in black or blue and ships this month in the European, India, Middle Eastern and African markets, though prices were not disclosed. When or if it will arrive in North America is unknown.
