3M has just unveiled a new pocket camcorder that has a built-in pico projector, the Shoot ‘n’ Share CP40. It can project images and videos up to 65 inches in size at VGA resolution, though it has the ability to record 720P videos or five megapixel photos. The unit comes with14MB of built-in memory, a microSDHC memory card slot lets users add up to 32GB of storage, good for about 20 hours of video.
The Pico projector has 12 lumens of brightness when working off the CP40’s built-in rechargeable lithium polymer battery or 14 lumens when plugged in. Also, the camera can also play back content on connected external displays via HMDI.
