Amazon has posted an early release of the next software update for the 3rd generation Kindle e-book reader, Version 3.0.2. The update will be up for an unspecified limited time and promises to bring faster web browser and general performance boosts.
Uploading the update onto the Kindle is the same as any regular update, with the process detailed on Amazon’s site. The 3.0.2 software is now available for download for the Wi-Fi model, the North American 3G version and the European model.
