Samson has introduced its latest pocket camcorder, the advanced Zoom Q3HD. The new unit has Samson’s dual microphones for truer stereo sound recording. The device can record 1080P at 30FPS or 720P in either 30FPS or 60FPS.
The stereo condenser microphones can record 24-bit, 96kHz audio. Audio levels can be monitored with a visual meter the 2.4-inch, 320×240 LCD screen, and gain is settable to high, low or auto. The device also has a just below the n HDMI port and is powered by two AA batteries.
The five-megapixel CMOS camera captures all the images onto an included 2GB SD memory card. A USB port is there to download the captured content, and an HDMI output allows viewing on external screens.
The Zoom Q3HD ships later this fall for $299.99.
