SwamiCity announces 9 new iPhone travel applications as part of its popular free iPhone travel app series. SwamiCity’s new apps include: Miami, Orlando, Philadelphia, New Orleans, Dallas, Houston, Denver, Portland and Seattle. The apps work on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
An update to all SwamiCity applications adds new features and artwork. Now SwamiCity users can easily locate nearby wireless internet (WiFi) hotspots. The Near Me feature provides a broader range of options, including the ability to sort by restaurant type and locate the nearest Chinese or Indian restaurant. SwamiCity is also unveiling an updated design, with artwork representing each city and distinctive icons.
The design and app updates will apply to the 8 travel apps already released, covering the metro areas of: New York, Los Angeles, Washington, DC, Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, San Diego and San Francisco.
