Unveiled at CES this year, the Olympus E-PL2 is now available for purchase at Amazon and Olympus’ own site. The $600 camera will replace the E-PL1 and gets a new sensor, a higher ISO setting of 6,400, a new 14-42mm f3.5-5.6 kit lens and in-body image stabilization. The PenPal accessory has the ability to store up to 2,600 photos and send them over Bluetooth to other devices, starting with Android and Windows Mobile.
The Micro Four Thirds camera also has a larger, 3-inch screen than its predecessor. Olympus doesn’t ship with any recording media of its own, but supports as much as SDXC memory cards. The PenPal accessory itself isn’t yet available for the camera.
