During a press conference at the Mobile World Congress on Monday, BlackBerry maker Research In Motion said the second half of 2011 will see the launch of both an HSPA+ and LTE-compatible version of its yet-to-be-launched PlayBook tablet. The Financial Post story says the release of the first two versions, a WiMAX and Wi-Fi model, will arrive this summer at Sprint and before the end of March in retail stores, respectively.
Official prices and launch dates haven’t yet been announced by the RIM.
