Earlier today, Apple issued Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update v3.6 for iPhoto ’11 and Aperture 3, which adds compatibility with the recently-announced Canon T3 and T3i entry-level DSLRs, as well as two Pentax models — the K-r and the K-5 — as well as the Olympus E-5 and the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100. The update also addresses “processing issues” with a handful of other cameras.
The update offers fixes for processing Nikon D7000 and Nikon Coolpix P7000 RAW images, along with the Panasonic Lumix models DMC-GF1 and DMC-GH2. The update is a small 6.45MB in size and requires Mac OS X 10.5.8 or 10.6.5 or later.
