Adobe has just released the 10.3 beta version of Flash Player for Mac, Linux and Windows – not mobile devices. 10.3 has new developer features and added user privacy protection. The beta integrates with Firefox 4 and Internet Explorer 8 browsers’ privacy controls for local storage – support for Chrome and Safari are coming. The Mac version gets auto-update notification.
There is also a native control panel and acoustic echo cancellation when making VoIP calls. Content producers also get video analytics for tracking how users accessed their content.
Adobe has urged users to send their feedback and has warned that bugs still exist. Adobe also promises a Flash Player 10.3 for mobile devices soon.
