Samsung as part of its NewYork electronics unveiling on Wednesday confirmed both the 13-inch and 11.1-inch model to the Series 9 line .
The 11 inch model will hit the scales at 2.3-pounds and sport 2GB of RAM along with a 64GB SSD. The Korean-made notebook will take advantage of the later ship date to come with a newer ultra-low voltage 1.33GHz Core i3 and extend the battery life to seven hours.
Samsung did not disclose any pricing so far but the 11 model is due to ship in mid-April. Samsung’s 13-inch model ships at the same time with an ultra-low voltage 1.4GHz Core i5, 4GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD costing $1,649 for a version with Windows 7 Home Premium and $1,699 with Windows 7 Professional.
