Duke Nukem Forever has been delayed, again. Set for a May 3 launch, developer Gearbox Software has said the launch is now being pushed to June 10 internationally and June 14 for the United States and Canada.

Things were looking up for Duke Nukem fans after 2K games announced that 3D Realms had handed the project over to Gearbox Software after more than 13 years of development. Then, just a couple of months ago, Gearbox announced the May 3 launch date.

The video below wil make you smile and cry at the same time.

“When I said goodbye to 3D Realms and the original Duke Nukem 3D team in 1997 and soon after founded Gearbox Software, I never in my wildest dreams imagined that a day like today would come,” said Randy Pitchford, president of Gearbox Software. “Today I am proud, humbled and even astounded to announce that the day is coming at last for all gamers to be a part of video game history: Duke Nukem Forever will launch worldwide this May!”

However, it seems the company needs six more weeks to prepare for the launch. They didn’t actually say why, but hack what is 6 more weeks after 13 years.
