Toshiba Europe this week revealed four new notebooks that have 3D active shutter glasses technology. They include the Satellite P750 3D/P755 3D and the Satellite P770 3D/P775 3D. The former use 15.6-inch HD displays, while the latter goes bigger with 17.3-inch panels. All have the necessary 120Hz display refresh rates and ship with two pairs of NVIDIA’s 3D active shutter glasses.
The notebooks otherwise offer Intel Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processors, as well as up to 8GB of RAM and as much as 750GB of storage space from a hard drive. Smaller capacity SSDs are optional as well. A dual-layer DVD writer is standard, with a Blu-ray drive and burner optional.
Graphics processing power comes from NVIDIA’s GeForce GT 540M in either 1GB or 2GB guises. Otherwise, the notebooks share Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, and Harman Kardon speakers.
Although prices haven’t been released, the foursome ships this spring in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. A North American release is expected to be announced soon.
