ASUS has just unveiled a reworking of its 15.6-inch ASUS-Automobili Lamborghini VX7 notebook. Like the supercars it borrows styling cues from, it’s available in orange, black or carbon fiber. Processing power comes from a Sandy Bridge-era Intel Core i7 processor.
Graphics are power by NVIDIA’s 3GB GeForce GTX 460M GPU, said to be its first application in a laptop. Users can opt for 500GB or 750GB hard drives or an optional solid-state hybrid drive that offers 1.25TB of capacity and is rated at the equivalent of 10,000RPM. A single USB 3.0 port and three USB 2.0 are standard fare, as is an HDMI output. Finally, a two-megapixel camera and an eight-cell battery round out the major specs.
