A new program called Rinse, developed by RealNetworks, claims to be able to automatically correct.

Rinse uses a database of song details. It gives the user the option to correct tracks either one at a time, which allows editing, or automatically in batches. The program also standardizes genre names and can search for and eliminate duplicate tracks.

RealNetworks has not officially announced Rinse, but has started a blog, as well as a Twitter account and Facebook page for the program, in addition to the product website.

Rinse is the second effort in recent months by RealNetworks to position itself as a media management service. At CES 2011, RealNetworks previewed Unifi, a cloud-based media library system that is currently in public beta testing.

Rise is a free download for OSX, Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.
