The 58-year-old David Hasselhoff is set to play a detective in a new version of the Edward Woodward series The Equalizer.
Woodward played the role of an aging New Yorker vigilante with a strange and mysterious past.
Hasselhoff has been working on Britain’s Got Talent and has since been offered a new film and reality show.
