Llano based Fusion chips from AMD that began shipping in April to netbooks and nettops first are now being shipped to notebook makers. Details of both the shipping and prices have emerged thanks to Digitimes that show a full-blown ship schedule will begin in July. AMD is reportedly due to move 1.5 million chips and would be well on its way to meeting its goal of a 15 percent share of the notebook CPU segment.

AMD will launch six Llano and four Bulldozer APUs for desktops. Leaked prices range from $70 for a dual-core E2-3250 Llano to $170 for a quad-core A8-3550P. The former would compete with Intel’s Pentium G620 and the latter, along with a $150 A8-3550, with Intel’s Core i5-2300.

There are also the $130 A6-3450P and $110 A6-3450, which would compete with a Core i3-2120. The last of the Llanos is an $80 A4-3350P that would compete with Intel’s Pentium G6960/6950 and Sandy Bridge G800/600.

Eight-core Bulldozer chips include from the $320 FX-8130P and $290 FX-8130 that would be competitors for Intel’s Core i7 2600K/2600. Then there is the $240, six-core FX-6110 and $220, quad-core FX-4110, both of which are said to be alternatives for Core i5 2500K/2500 chips.
