Rock of Ages director Adam Shankman just tweeted this great photo of Alec Baldwin and Russell Brand on the set of his upcoming screen adaptation of the popular Broadway musical.
Filming for the movie started last week and things appear to be fully underway.
Rock of Ages explores rock music through the eyes of Stacee Jaxx, a huge rock and roll star. It is set to the music of huge ’80s rock bands, including Bon Jovi, Twisted Sisters, and Journey.
The huge cast also includes Tom Cruise, Mary J. Blige, Julianne Hough, Alec Baldwin, Paul Giamatti, Diego Bonet, Russell Brand, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Bryan Cranston.
