Telltale Games is has release the fourth chapter of its five episodic games for the iPad based on the original 1980s movie Back to the Future, The fourth episode, entitled “Double Visions” is now available. As a bonus for those just catching up to the series, the company is making the first episode “It’s About Time” available for free through July 31st. All five episodes star Christopher Lloyd as the voice of Doc Brown.
The game is supervised by Bob Gale, the original co-creator and co-writer for the blockbuster film trilogy. Voice actors double for the rest of the original film cast, including the uncanny impersonation of A. J. LoCascio as the voice of Marty McFly, originally played by Michael J. Fox (Fox joins the cast for a cameo role in the final episode). The episodes are inspired by the look, design and events in the original films, but carry the adventure further. In episode four, Marty must go back to 1931 to convince a younger Doc Brown and his sweetheart Edna Strickland not to get married — or the world of 1986 as he knows it will cease to exist.
