The T-Mobile G-Slate has already had its price cut by $130 since going on sale just around six weeks ago. It is now available on a two-year contract for $400 after a $200 mail in rebate. Its off-contract price has now also dropped from $750 to $700.
The device was one of the first Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) tablets to launch. It is capable of shooting 3D video footage courtesy of its dual 5-megapixel cameras on the rear. Although the display is 2D, the supplied red-blue glasses allow users to see the images in 3D.
The device sports a 1GHz dual-core processor and centers on an 8.9-inch display. It also incorporates and HDMI port and supports USB tethering. A 2-megpixel front-facing camera delivers video-chat capabilities.
