HP’s developer relations head Richard Kerris twetted Monday that the over-the-air update for the TouchPad was arriving Monday. The first customers would get it “this morning.” Testers had been working “late nights,” Kerris added.
The patch is arriving slightly later than the promised end of July target.
What exact fixes are coming aren’t known, though they should theoretically solve many of the outstanding bugs from launch. The webOS tablet has faced some slowdowns as well as various other functional and visual glitches. HP has already been closing the content gap through launches of the Kindle app and the Movie Store.
