Ubisoft is releasing Just Dance Kids 2 to give the little ones a beat to groove on. The game is being developed by Land Ho!. While the first game was a Wii-exclusive, this it is due for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii on October 25.
Since it is not a Wii-exclusive this time, it will sport Kinect support on Xbox 360 and Move support on the PlayStation 3 as well. The Xbox 360 with Kinect version lets you create and save your own dance routines and star in a music video. The PS3 Move version snaps photos with the PlayStation Eye and lets you select song medleys. The Wii version includes a multiplayer mode called Balloon Pop, in which you shake your controller to earn points while dancing.
They each also include a new Nonstop Shuffle mode, where you can set it to play for 15, 30, 60, or 120 minutes without having to stop to select menus.
Ubisoft hasn’t released a full list of the 40 tracks, but has mentioned a few set to make appearances like “Love Me,” “Whip My Hair,” “Just The Way You Are,” alongside songs from kid-centric TV shows and movies, and covers of “Burnin’ Up,” “Barbara Ann,” “Shake Your Groove Thing,” and “I Am a Gummy Bear.” Plus we’ll get some classic kids songs that old-timers probably remember from kindergarten, like “Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes,” and “The Hokey Pokey.”
