Kodak has launched its latest EasyShare digital camera, the EasyShare Touch M5370. The EasyShare Touch M5370 has the same 3-inch capacitive touchscreen LCD and 5X wide angle Schneider-Kreuznach lens as the original EasyShare Touch, but adds a 16-megapixel sensor and takes 720p video. A face tagging feature can recognize five faces at a time and adds names while pictures are on the camera. A one-touch share button marks photos for sharing by email or popular social media sites such as Facebook, Flickr, or Twitter and automatically sends the pictures when the camera docks.
Twenty digital effects are programmed into the camera, such as classic Kodak Kodacolor, Kodachrome, and Ektachrome treatments, as well as the standard video—black and white, sepia, high saturation and 70s film effects. Scene modes include popular preset for backlight, blur reduction , close-up, landscape, panorama, portrait and others.
The Kodak EasyShare Touch M5370 is available in silver, blue, pink and red. Kodak has stated that the EasyShare Touch M5370 will be available in the Fall for $180. However the Kodak website shows the camera as currently shipping for $160.
