T-Mobile wasn’t just limited to new phones at Mobilize conference, they alsointroduced its fastest mobile hotspot in the form of its Sonic 4G. It gives access to the carrier’s HSPA+ 42Mbps network for up to five linked devices over Wi-Fi. The Huawei-built gadget weighs just under 3.9 ounces.
The hotspot has an integrated SD card slot that can support capacities of up to 32GB. Connected devices can access contents of the SD card if given permission to do so. An OLED display shows the device status, signal, and battery strength, the number of connected devices, the connection status and type, as well as unread text messages.
The hotspot ships in October, though no prices are yet official.
