GameStop today announced that it will host early opening video game launch events at more than 3,000 of its U.S. locations on Sunday, March 22, 2009. These events kick off the much-anticipated release of Nintendo’s Pokémon Platinum for the Nintendo DS.
Many GameStop locations will open as early as 9:00 a.m.; however, contact your local store to confirm the exact time of opening. Events surrounding the release include character dress-up contests, face painting, art contests and Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl DS one-day tournaments.
