Capcom has finally officially announced Devil May Cry HD Collection for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The new compilation will feature Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening Special Edition all visually enhanced for HD. The Collection will also contain bonus features and include Trophies/Achievements.
Devil May Cry stars Dante, the son of a devil and human. The half-demon uses weapons and demonic powers to defeat the evil forces threatening mankind. Devil May Cry 2 added a new playable character, Lucia. Devil May Cry 3 revamped the combat system, introducing six fighting styles for the player to choose from.
The HD collection actually includes the “Dante’s Awakening Special Edition” of DMC3. It adds Vergil, Dante’s twin brother, as a playable character. Bloody Palace and Turbo Modes are also introduced in this edition.
The whole thing will be available in early 2012 for $39.99.
