Marvel has announced they will continue the free download of digital copies of Avenging Spider-Man by Zeb Wells and Joe Madureira through the first arc to issue three. And with the first issue topping six figures in orders from comic store retailers.
Earlier this month, Marvel announced that the first print issue of the series, scheduled for release on Nov. 9, would be polybagged with a download code redeemable for a free digital copy. Each Avenging Spider-Man issue is priced at $3.99, a dollar less than DC’s similar Justice League “combo pack.”
At New York Comic Con, Marvel representatives discussed the possibility of free digital copies being offered for more titles if enough readers redeem the Avenging Spider-Man codes.
