Grand Theft Auto V is going back to Cali!
The trailer (see below) gives this away, but Rockstar Games has confirmed their open world action title takes place in the city of Los Santos, a fictional version of Los Angeles.
Fans of the franchise will likely recall Los Santos from their exploits in the 2004 title Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
The game’s story focuses on “the pursuit of the almighty dollar in a re-imagined, present-day Southern California,” reads a statement from Rockstar and publisher Take-Two Interactive.
Also, similar to predecessor Grand Theft Auto IV, the sequel will feature an expansive, mission-based component for solo adventuring and online multiplayer.
