After one week of exclusivity on PlayStation 3, Battlefield 3 expansion Back to Karkand is now available for Xbox 360 and PC, EA and DICE have announced.
Back to Karkand features four Battlefield 2 maps re-imagined for Battlefield 3 with enhanced levels of destruction thanks to Frostbite 2. The expansion also offers 10 new weapons, three classic vehicles from Battlefield 2 – including the STOVL fighter jet, Desert Buggy, and APC – five new dog tags, and an added layer of persistence with the all-new Assignments.
If you picked up the Battlefield 3 Limited Edition then you are entitled to Back to Karkand at no extra cost, or you can buy from Origin priced $14.99 and Xbox LIVE Marketplace priced 1200 MS Points.
If you’re playing on Xbox 360 you’ll need to download and install the hefty 2GB update before you get to play Back to Karkand.
