Sony has reportedly released yet another firmware update for its PlayStation Vita handheld game console. The company did not provide full details surrounding the download, which brings the firmware up to version 1.52, however it is believed to address a problem involving compatibility with some 3G SIM cards.
The company recently downplayed reports that have suggested the device is facing widespread hardware or software issues. Some reports point to problems with touchscreen functionality or powering up and down, however the pervasiveness of such allegations remains unclear.
The Vita is still available only in a limited number of locations, though a North American launch is scheduled for late February.
